--- title: Ethan Roderick --- # Ethan Roderick Lover of dogs, player of games, technological adventurer and scientist extraordinaire  #### Schooling ## Unity College Back in 2014 I received my Bachelor's in Science from Unity College, "America's environmental college." I've always been passionate about the sciences and the world around me, I spent most of my days as a kid picking things apart in the woods and when I couldn't be outside I was pulling apart old electronics to see how they work. I think these childhood pastimes show through me as an adult in my choice of work, first for the state at a fish hatchery then at a tech company. I guess some things don't really change!  ![science](https://www.ethan-roderick.com/hubfs/science.jpg "science") #### In a nutshell ## What Have I Been Up To? ![Maine-logo](https://www.ethan-roderick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Maine-logo.png?width=100&height=111&name=Maine-logo.png "Maine-logo") ### Fish Culturist Participated in fish husbandry of brook trout and landlocked salmon from fertilization through stocking. I love the outdoors, I grew up in Maine and I spent every extra moment rolling around in nature and spending time with my friends and family. ##### Do All the Things! I practiced martial arts for almost a decade and received my black belt, to this day that test is my baseline for difficulty. If I made it through that I can do anything! These days I dabble in gymnastics! ##### A Pro Gamer Move I'm a huge nerd and gamer, I regularly play Dungeons & Dragons and whatever other video game catches my eye. Great for hand-eye coordination I hear? ##### One More Thing! My favorite color is green, I'm a sucker for classic rock and folk music, petting dogs is my passion, and sandwiches are life but dumplings are a close runner up.   ![m&b](https://www.ethan-roderick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/m%26b.jpg?width=3024&height=4032&name=m%26b.jpg "m&b") # How About a Few Pictures, Why Not? ![11954638_888076207908401_9067829723380114741_n](https://www.ethan-roderick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/11954638_888076207908401_9067829723380114741_n.jpg?width=400&height=533&name=11954638_888076207908401_9067829723380114741_n.jpg "11954638_888076207908401_9067829723380114741_n") ![13315339_10154205680928850_4542400316501835224_n](https://www.ethan-roderick.com/hubfs/13315339_10154205680928850_4542400316501835224_n.jpg "13315339_10154205680928850_4542400316501835224_n") ![medad](https://www.ethan-roderick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/medad.jpg?width=3024&height=4032&name=medad.jpg "medad") ![41113205_10156649787148850_4325089761367687168_o](https://www.ethan-roderick.com/hubfs/41113205_10156649787148850_4325089761367687168_o.jpg "41113205_10156649787148850_4325089761367687168_o") ![megimli2](https://www.ethan-roderick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/megimli2.jpg?width=400&height=533&name=megimli2.jpg "megimli2") ![10393680_10152626825793850_3077472774648911896_n](https://www.ethan-roderick.com/hubfs/10393680_10152626825793850_3077472774648911896_n.jpg "10393680_10152626825793850_3077472774648911896_n") #### Oh, Hello! ## You Made it All the Way to the Bottom!
